Societies and industries exist because groups of people cooperating can achieve vastly more than what a person can do on their own. The people who’ve advanced humanity throughout time fearlessly led by example, pushing to do their best so hard that they pushed beyond expectation and caused some type of change in the world.

Realizing your full potential comes from education and practice. There is an absolute best version of everything and everyone. Fear and jealousy, which is the fear of not feeling/being as valuable as someone else, are enemies of success and imagination. Creativity is the idea we aim to teach and quality/luxury is the theme (or language) we use to communicate that message.

Excellence comes from a sense of urgency, not a rush! So we need to constantly self-examine and pace ourselves to accomplish our goals. Our mission is to create a culture of high achievement and excellence through our example and message.

Jared Selter

As an experienced musician, composer and educator I can say without hesitation that 1500 Sound Academy is a school unlike any other.

Our founders have made the school’s mission to educate the best talent on relevant techniques used by top professionals in contemporary music. This goes beyond a purely technical or musical approach and dives deep into attitude, emotional intelligence, studio etiquette, and vibe - the intangibles that are the practical keys to penetrating the top of the industry.

In programming for the academy, I am extremely blessed to have access to talent that has excelled and exceeded all expectations in music. This is a direct effect of the years of work the 1500 or Nothin’ collective has put into their own excellence in crafting many of the chart-topping songs heard today.

My role at the academy is to be as transparent as possible in realizing the vision of President James Fauntleroy and CEO Larrance Dopson in our curriculum and events. As a long time participant in music education, I believe the 1500 Sound Academy’s approach is simple and revolutionary: affordable, hands-on access to what was previously inaccessible - the top players in the game.

Thank you, and have a great year.

- Jared
