As you begin, it will be helpful for you to have access to the items needed for the Academy to assess your qualifications. The following is a brief checklist of the items you will need:

On-Campus and Live Online Programs
  • Resume – It can include non-music related experience.
  • Links to two songs you that you have participated in the production of. Please be prepared to discuss your involvement in them in your interview.
  • Links to a website, social media or other online content.
  • A copy of your High School Transcripts and Diploma

A 6-month on-campus program designed to develop and hone skills to a professional level in a short amount of time. Learn a wide range of critical skills required to thrive in the music industry.

Live online program

Live Online with Instructor
Our Live Online Program is taught by an On-Campus Instructor in a virtual classroom setting - that means courses are in real-time virtually in the comfort of your home.

On-Demand Online Program

Launching January 2021
On-Demand Online Program is for students to learn at their own pace and hone their skills to a professional level at their convenience, globally anywhere. Each course contains 15 lessons designed with the flexibility to complete on your time.

    There are two Enrollment Options

  • $6,750 when enrolled in Full Program (6 Courses)
  • $1,250 per Course

Courses

Music Production Covers the foundations of digital music production including drum sequencing, music theory for producers, and studio etiquette. Production is taught in Ableton Live

Songwriting Covers lyric and melody writing, song structure, and song analysis. More advanced aspects of music theory are also discussed.

Mixing Covers the fundamentals of music mixing including balancing levels, vocal production and creating space, as well as current mix delivery requirements. Mixing is taught in Pro Tools.

Engineering Engineering Covers vocal recording techniques, digital audio fundamentals and recording templates. Engineering is taught in Pro Tools.

Music Business Covers the foundations of managing a music career including publishing, copyright, contracts and taxes.

Artist Branding Covers branding, marketing, song distribution and online presence for music artists, producers and other industry professionals.
