Volume Ventures Scholarship Terms and Conditions
Introduction:
This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for scholarships and awards administered by the Volume Ventures LLC (“Volume Ventures”). All scholarships and awards will be referred to as ‘scholarships’ herein. All scholarships are for 1500 Sound Academy, LLC (“1500 Sound Academy”) only.
Scholarship applicant and recipient is defined as “’You” or “Your(s)” in these Terms and Conditions.
You must read these Terms and Conditions in full. In accepting a scholarship from the Volume Ventures, it is understood that You have read and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Please note, if You are under 18 years of age, Your parent or guardian must read and consent to these terms and conditions on Your behalf.

Accepting Your Scholarship:
Successful scholarship applicants will receive an official email detailing the scholarship amount and payment timing. If You do not wish to accept a scholarship that You have been offered, You should advise us immediately in writing. You agree to provide Volume Ventures with Your current email address during the term of the Scholarship and will provide updated email addresses if necessary. Volume Ventures reserves the right to correct clerical or computational errors.
Your scholarships details may be passed on to Your school, donors or partner organization (where applicable). If you do not wish for Your details to be passed on, You must advise Volume Ventures in writing.
If You are offered a different scholarship to the one You applied for, this will be considered instead of, rather than in addition to, the original scholarship. Volume Ventures will only issue one scholarship per applicant per program.
How Your Scholarship is Allocated:
All scholarship awards are to be used towards tuition only and does not include required materials, housing or any additional expense. Volume Ventures will send payment to 1500 Sound Academy directly. Students will see the scholarship award as a tuition discount on their remaining bill.
Eligibility Requirements:
All scholarships are awarded on the basis that You will maintain an enrolled status at 1500 Sound Academy in Your approved course of study. Your scholarship may be terminated if Your enrollment status changes, for example if You discontinue Your studies at the Academy by taking a leave of absence or withdraw.
To retain Your scholarship, You must also:
- at a minimum, maintain Your attendance and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) while enrolled;
- adhere to the academic and administrative policies of the Academy as detailed in the Academy’s course catalog; and
- meet any additional criteria outlines in Your letter of offer.
Scholarship Termination:
Volume Ventures may terminate Your scholarship if You have:
- inactive enrollment;
- failed to meet the eligibility requirements of Your scholarship;
- failed to meet the scholarships terms and conditions;
- failed to maintain satisfactory academic progress;
- been suspended or excluded from the Academy or Your course of study; and/or
- have provided incorrect, false or misleading information or withheld relevant information on Your scholarship application or after receiving a scholarship offer.
- Violate the student code of conduct as detailed in the 1500 Sound Academy catalog
Publicity and Promotion:
If You are offered a scholarship, You consent that Your details including name, photograph, video and scholarship awarded may be passed on to media and/or partner organizations for promotional purposes, including but not limited to 1500 Sound Academy and Volume Ventures websites, social media channels, print and electronic media.
You consent, if You attend events held by the Volume Ventures and/or 1500 Sound Academy, photos and videos of You at the event (along with Your name, school and scholarship), may be used for promotional purposes by Volume Ventures and/or our company subsidiaries and affiliates including but not limited to the 1500 Sound Academy and Volume Ventures website, social media channels, print and electronic media.
This consent is for an indefinite period of time. With reference to the above, You grant Volume Ventures and/or our company subsidiaries and affiliates permission to use, reproduce, distribute, communicate to the public, publish, publicly display, modify, translate, adapt, upload, download in any form or manner and/or permission to incorporate the above into other materials or works in any format or medium for any non-commercial purpose and the right to sublicense those rights for noncommercial purpose. You also waives the right to inspect or approve the finished product, the advertising copy or other matter that may be used in connection therewith or the use to which is may be applied and agree that You will not receive any form of consideration, including payment, for Your consent.
Taxation:
Volume Ventures is not responsible for and cannot provide You with financial advice on taxation matters in relation to the scholarship program.
Liability Waiver:
In accepting a scholarship from Volume Ventures You agree to WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE Volume Ventures, its officers, directors, owners, agents, employees, subsidiaries and affiliates from any and all liability, including but not limited to, any liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may occur to You during or after the scholarship period, including during or after any travel undertaken as part of the scholarship.
Cancelation of Scholarship Program:
Volume Ventures reserve the right to cancel the Scholarship program at any point.
Volume Ventures reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions for commencing and continuing scholarship holders.
Volume Ventures Privacy Policy applies to all Volume Ventures’ scholarships.
